FA FIRED FOR REVEALING SHE QUALIFIES FOR FOOD STAMPS

"No business which depends for existence on paying less than living wages to its workers has any right to continue in this country. By living wages I mean more than a bare subsistence level—I mean the wages of decent living." ~ President Franklin D. Roosevelt

OUR HISTORIC ELECTION
3 September 2010 - Just in time to drive home the significance of labor’s holiday weekend, the National Mediation Board authorized our representational election and announced an official election schedule. Delta flight attendants everywhere kicked off the workers’ holiday with fresh excitement, knowing many months of hard work will soon culminate in an historic election to retain a legal voice in our future. Thanks to more democratic NMB voting rules established earlier this summer, this will be the first such election where every voice truly counts in the voting process. AFA FILES LAWSUIT TO COMPEL DELTA TO COMPLY WITH RLA

"It is our solemn responsibility to uphold and defend our contract and we will use any means necessary to do so. This case arises from Delta Air Lines numerous and intensifying violations of the collective bargaining rights of 7,168 pre-merger Northwest Airlines flight attendants." >>Read Janette's entire letter HERE
