Delta Policy Manual

¡WARNING!

Information contained in the
Delta FlyRight policy manual
can be changed by Delta management at any time.
As a non-union Delta flight attendant, it would be your responsibility to know and abide by these directives at all times – even if the rules have never been published.

Good luck with that!

This memo was issued to Delta Air Lines flight attendants on July 10, 2008.

An updated edition of In-Flight Service’s FlyRight Work Rules manual, known now simply as “Flight Attendant Work Rules,” will be available on the IFS Portal and in effect for all flight attendants on July 15.

The updated edition is the culmination of months of review and editing by members of the IFS Operations and Planning team, field leadership and EIG members. In revising the manual, the working team had simpl e goals:  to present work rules content more logically and simply, and to increase the number of examples, descriptions and charts used to aid in understanding. Policy additions, clarifications and revisions - made in response to recent network and operational changes and which improve schedule flexibility for flight attendants and operational effectiveness for Delta - are also included in this updated edition.

The updated Flight Attendant Work Rules will be available for viewing on the IFS Operations and Planning Portal page on July 15.  Abbreviated versions of the manual containing the most commonly-referenced sections (similar to previous FlyRight “Lite” booklets) will be printed and made available in bases in mid-August.  At that time details will also be available on how to request a complete printed version of the manual from the Manual Services department.
