Jumpseat Committee

Hello Flying Partners and thanks for clicking on the jumpseat page.  My name is Joshua Zivick. I am the LEC President for NYC and have been extensively involved in the cabin reciprocal agreements we have gained pre-merger and post merger. I am working with LEC President Diana Mitcham from DTW and member Stacey Yeatts from DTW as well.  It is our goal to continue to add to the list of existing cabin reciprocal agreements/flowback agreements and ensure our jumpseat program is problem free.  We can be reached via email at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

The committee will be responsible for working on problems that arise throughout the system with the XFA jumpseat.  Our Contract calls for administration of the jumpseat program within certain guidelines. The contractual language will be posted on our webpage as well as other useful information that can be printed and carried with you when jumpseating.  Delta has done very little to educate the ACS representatives and pilots from PMDL, so problems continue to arise.  It is our goal to eliminate these problems,

Should you encounter problems or are denied the use of your jumpseat or your non-rev listing, we want to know about it.  Please include your name, base, employee number and personal email address to contact you for follow-up. Also be sure to give us the flight number, date, routing, PPR #, airport of occurrence and a summary of the incident.

We would like to accumulate information from you so that we can address these issues with the company.

Currently we are working on the following issues:
*  Our contractual right to list for both the jumpseat and non-rev pass travel & related conflicts
*   The cut off times the computer will accept listing & verification of your non-rev travel
*   XFAs being denied the use of their jumpseat and/or asked for non-required procedures by pilots and agents.
